Potlatch

Celebrating Native American culture and achievements January 1-7 every year

"POTLATCH"

Potlatch is ceremonies
celebrating births,
rites of passages,
weddings, funerals, puberty, and honoring the deceased...The most sacred ceremonies are usually observed in the winter!

"OUR MISSION"

Our mission is to get
the U.S Government to
grant the Native Americans
a legal holiday of there own!
Some time during the winter
months! As a way to honor
our for fathers, in recognition
of both our Victories and Defeats,
and to teach others about our many
beliefs! We would like to have
1 Legal holiday, and a month of recognition
The legal holiday being called Potlatch, and
have the day during "Native History Month"
So Please help us spread the word!
We can acheave this by gathering Petitions and submitting them to our state representatives! By contacting our local newspapers and news channels! Finding other Native American web sites asking them to help us promote our cause! Any other ideas are all good ideas! So lets get the word out and get the recognition we deserve!
