Dear Mr. Martin
Thank you for your postcard and your suggestion that a national celebration of Native American achievements, culture, and traditions be established as an annual commemoration. I appreciate hearing from you.
Native American traditions remain an important part of Virginia’s history. I am pleased to note that Native American culture is celebrated with the 24th House District by descendents of the local Monocan people.
I also note that you are a resident of Delegate Frank Hall’s district and I am taking the liberty of forwarding your suggestion to him. You may choose to contact Delegate Hall to provide him with further information about your suggestion. Delegate Hall may be reached by mail at Post Office Box 3407, Richmon, Va 23235 or by telephone at 804-897-5900.
Thank you again for writing. Please do not hesitate to be in touch whenever I may be of further assistance to you.
Sincerely,
Ben Cline

Dear Mr. Martin
Several weeks ago my associate Delegate Ben Cline, sent a copy of a letter he wrote your regarding your interest in establishing an annual celebration honoring Native Americans. What a great idea!
I am asking our Division of Legislative Services to look into this and perhaps we can work together on your suggestion. My staff has been trying to reach you by phone but unfortunately, we have not been successful. It would be helpful to know the best way to reach you, particularly after Legislative Services has offered their help.
Thank you for your interest in recognizing such an important group and I look forward to working with you in this regard.
With best wishes, I remain
Sincerely,
Franklin P. Hall
